Rigg Now 5-8 After Beating Clippers
|
In a well-pitched game between the Gwinnett Stripers and the Columbus Clippers, pitcher Jack Rigg was fantastic. The Gwinnett left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Gwinnett goes to 34-32, Columbus to 36-30.
Rigg was charged with no runs on 1 hit over 6 innings for the Stripers. With the win, the 6-foot-3 , 200-pound left-hander goes to 5-8.
"I made a lot of good pitches," said Rigg. "I was right where I wanted to be."
