The Buffalo Bisons converted a terrific effort from starter Jeremiah Yurcak into a win over the Toledo Mud Hens at Coca-Cola Field. The Bisons won the game by a final score of 3-2. After today's action, Buffalo sits at 35-33; Toledo slips to 27-41.

Ewing Lekota had a big run-scoring double for the Bisons in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a knuckle curve from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Kurt Herring and swatted a double to left. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bisons ahead, 3-0.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Yurcak.
