The Toledo Mud Hens got a stellar effort from pitcher Tray Cheng, helping Toledo score a win over the visiting Rochester Norsemen, 4-2. Toledo is now 32-39.

The Norsemen had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Mud Hens going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old right fielder Israel Griffin came to the plate. Griffin hit a solo home run on a first pitch cutter from Rochester hurler Samuel Allen. It was Griffin's 4th home run of the year.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Griffin told the Toledo Gazette.
