The first-place Scranton Dundies took on the Buffalo Bisons in front of a spirited crowd.

The Scranton Dundies defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 5-1, in International League action at PNC Field. Scranton pitcher Diontay Thomas had a standout performance. Scranton reliever Diontay Thomas got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Justin Bristol was tagged with the loss.

Andy Alba had a big solo home run for the Dundies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Scranton leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Norse Jones and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Dundies on top, 2-0.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Thomas.

The wins continue to add up for Scranton. The latest makes it 8 in a row.
