Kunai Propels Newark to 4-1 Win
The Newark Bears topped the Wilkes-Barre Barons, 4-1, in International League action at Coca-Cola Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Newark pitcher Phillip Kunai. Ryan Stucky locked down his 7th save. Despite the win, the Bears have a lousy 21-55 record.

Kunai, the winner, is now 2-10 after putting the clamps on the Wilkes-Barre offense. In 8 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 1 hit, while collecting 6 Ks.

"Feels good to get the job done," Kunai said after the game.
