Oddballs Rally For 5-2 Win
The Gwinnett Stripers got a superb performance from pitcher Darrell Barrera. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Ottawa. The Oddballs won the game, 5-2. Barrera threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Ottawa reliever Matthew Logan picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Benjamin Reid shouldered the loss. Roger Danton earned the save for Ottawa, his 15th of the year.

Dwaine Porfilio helped out the Ottawa cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Porfilio.

The first-place Oddballs raised their record to 50-24.
