Clippers Best Chiefs, 4-0
The Columbus Clippers defeated the Syracuse Chiefs, 4-0, in International League action at Victory Field. Columbus pitcher Jason Seal had a standout performance. The Clippers now have a record of 36-40.

Columbus used the bat of Carlo Sheard to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Clippers ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Columbus manager Scott Manning.
