The Charlotte Knights downed the Maine Grizzlies, 12-7. The hitting star was designated hitter Russ Andrew. Andrew went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 2 for the Knights. The Grizzlies, at 48-32, have lost 5 in a row.

Noel Kettenring had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the second inning. With Charlotte leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Keven Aguayo, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2057 draft, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 5-0.
