The Orlando Wizards had to overcome a fine performance from Syracuse pitcher Burnum Skinner to grab a 3-0 win at Victory Field. Skinner allowed no runs over 6 innings. Orlando pitcher Francisco Reyes got the win. He's now 9-4. Sherman Cooper was tagged with the loss. Their 45-39 record puts the Wizards 4th in the International League Southwest Division.

Orlando used the timely hitting of Josiah Brito to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wizards on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Good win for our guys," said Brito.
