Travis Higginbotham was a vital contributor to the 13-0 Pawtucket victory over Syracuse. The Red Sox right fielder went 3-3 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Pawtucket now has a record of 44-42 with the win.

With Pawtucket leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Higginbotham hit a fastball from Simeon Leal for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 4-0.

"They took us to the woodshed," said Syracuse manager Aaron Calderon.
