Wizards Drop Stripers, 6-1
|
The Orlando Wizards and Gwinnett Stripers completed their game despite the rain.
Orlando turned a fine outing from starter Chase Urbach into a victory over the Gwinnett Stripers at Orlando Grounds. The final score was 6-1. Orlando is now 47-41.
With one out in the top of the sixth, Jim Lunsford had a chance to do some damage. Gwinnett was trailing 6-0, but had the bases loaded. Lunsford came to the plate against Chase Urbach, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Gwinnett comeback.
