Due in large part to left fielder Simon Benton, the Scranton Dundies sunk the Ottawa Oddballs, 5-2. Benton hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Dundies improved to 47-46.

Scranton grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Benton hit a 2-run home run off Justin Ayer. His 9th home run of the season put the Dundies out in front, 4-2.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Scranton manager Jim Salyers.
