Dundies Lose By a Run at Wilkes-Barre
The Wilkes-Barre Barons picked up a win at Coca-Cola Park, topping the Scranton Dundies, 5-4. On the mound for Wilkes-Barre was left-hander Damian Mandujano. He played a principal role in the triumph. Mandujano yielded 2 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 8-7. The Barons improved their record to 50-46 with the win over Scranton.

The Barons got a big at-bat from third baseman Walker Matthews. For the game, Matthews went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 24th home run of the season gave Wilkes-Barre a 3-1 lead.
