The Wilkes-Barre Barons thumped the Scranton Dundies, 8-2, at PNC Field. Mark Crabtree was a big reason his team got the win. Crabtree hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Wilkes-Barre pitcher Zion Mazza got the win, upping his record to 11-5. Yeudy Otero got the loss. The win puts Wilkes-Barre at 56-54 this season.

With Wilkes-Barre leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Crabtree hit a sinker from Yeudy Otero for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Barons ahead, 4-0.
