A good time was had by all at Orlando Grounds, where the Wilkes-Barre Barons and Orlando Wizards tangled.
Landon Bentley was nothing short of phenomenal for the Orlando Wizards. The 31-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Wilkes-Barre Barons, 3-0. Bentley yielded no runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 8-9. Virgil Dubeau, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 26th save.
Bibiano Ortiz helped out the Orlando cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.
Ortiz called the win "good for the psyche of this team."
At 54-55, the Wizards are currently 4th in the International League Southwest Division.
