Overstreet hits 2 home runs, Leads Missions to Win
|
The San Antonio Missions stopped the Montgomery Biscuits, 11-4, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The Missions got a big game from Joey Overstreet, who hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Missions now own a record of 49-51.
Coltrane Jaimes, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2053 draft, helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said San Antonio manager Mario Velasco.
