Slumping Naturals Lose Again
The Midland RockHounds beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 7-4. Midland pitcher and Shelby, Michigan, native Terry Jefferies led the way. Robert Evans earned his 9th save in 11 chances. With the win, Midland goes to 40-57, while the Naturals fall to 16-81.

The RockHounds got a big at-bat from designated hitter Sabino Novoa. For the game, Novoa was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Midland a 5-4 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Novoa.
