The Maine Grizzlies defeated the Buffalo Bisons by the score of 3-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Arsen Cope. Cope went 3-4 with 3 singles for the Grizzlies on the day. The Grizzlies saw their win-loss record go to 61-58. At the same time, the Bisons fell to 65-54.

Justin Ekins was the walk-off hero for Maine. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grizzlies pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
