Tides Lose Big to Knights, 10-2
Charlotte and Norfolk took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Charlotte Knights used an offensive barrage to beat the Norfolk Tides, 10-2, at Harbor Park. Monty Noboa, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2062 draft, led the way, going 3-for-4 for Charlotte. The winner was Pedro Sanchez, who threw 98 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 10 hits.

Charlotte designated hitter Grant Linn contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 54th hit of the season and put the Knights ahead, 4-2.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Linn after the game.

Charlotte bumps their record to 61-62 with the win.
