Smith, Bisons Too Much for Knights

The Buffalo Bisons beat the Charlotte Knights, 7-3, at Hustlers Stadium. Clive Smith, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2059 draft, starred for Buffalo. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Reliever Norse Jones picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Ken Berger took the loss. With the win, the Bisons have a record of 69-58.
Smith had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Ken Berger, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bisons a 5-3 lead. It was the 17th home run of the year for Smith.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Smith.
