66ers Earn 8-1 Win Versus Sacramento
|
Inland Empire 66ers starter Caleb McGee worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Sacramento River Cats, 8-1. In 6.1 innings, McGee surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The victory makes Inland Empire 2-2.
Inland Empire third baseman Jacob Summers contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the 66ers ahead, 3-0.
