Though the conditions were not ideal, the Honolulu ThunderSharks and Albuquerque Isotopes came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Honolulu ThunderSharks beat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 10-8, at Isotopes Park. Honolulu first baseman Sal McCurry led the way. He was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Zuriel Poindexter got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 5 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings.

Honolulu used the hitting of Marcel Genet to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the ThunderSharks on top, 5-3. For the game, Genet had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said ThunderSharks manager Jerry Lizalde. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The loss lowers the Albuquerque record to 3-2.
