ThunderSharks Claim 7-2 Triumph
The 7-2 Honolulu win over New Orleans was due largely to C.J. Rolon. The ThunderSharks designated hitter was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win gives Honolulu a record of 5-2.

The ThunderSharks got a big hit from shortstop Steffan Shaffer. Facing New Orleans pitcher Carter Kniss in the top of the sixth, Shaffer pounded a 2-run home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season put the ThunderSharks ahead, 5-2.

In comments to the Honolulu Daily, Rolon admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
