Triplets Snag 5-4 Win
The Evansville Triplets knocked off the Reno Aces, 5-4, at Blues Stadium. Sydney Lynn was a big reason Evansville won. The designated hitter was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Oliver Sarahat snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. Fabio Heimer closed the door for Evansville, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Rudy Russell was a prime factor in the win for the Triplets. In the top of the eighth with no one out, the 24-year old catcher hit a run-scoring single. He went 1 for 4.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Russell.

With the loss, Reno drops to 6-6.
