The El Paso Chihuahuas topped the Tucson Sidewinders, 8-6, the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Crow Trottier. On the day, Trottier was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles for the Chihuahuas. With their winning streak at 4, the Chihuahuas have raced to a strong start this season.

It could have been a different outcome for El Paso, had it not been for Timo Mestaz, the 25-year old left fielder . Mestaz contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put El Paso up, 6-1.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Chihuahuas manager Kelly Ury. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
