Storm Chasers Win in Extras, 7-6
Roberto Gómez had a good game, but he could not keep the Inland Empire 66ers from falling, 7-6, to the Omaha Storm Chasers at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Inland Empire right fielder went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The defeat makes Inland Empire 8-8.

Omaha used a clutch hit from Corey Rose to get the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Storm Chasers ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Rose.
