The Sacramento River Cats wiggled past the El Paso Chihuahuas, 3-2, at Southwest University park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Sacramento pitcher Aaron Willis. El Paso is 9-10 after the defeat.

Sacramento needed the clutch hitting of Nathan White to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the River Cats on top, 3-2. For the game, White had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"This was a tough loss," said El Paso manager Sawyer Sandbach. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
