Red-Hot Rainiers Win Again
Jeremiah Rector was locked in. The right-hander led the Tacoma Rainiers to a 6-4 win against the Honolulu ThunderSharks at Cheney Stadium. Rector, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Woody Felan earned his 6th save, after closing out the game.

Seth De Fillipo hit a run-scoring double off Ko Sirikit in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Rainiers in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, De Fillipo had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

"The wins are coming in bunches right now," said Rector. "We'll enjoy it while it lasts."

Tacoma has a record of 16-7.
