Omaha Loses Again, 3-1
|
The Nashville Sounds and Omaha Storm Chasers played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Tre Parker pitched well, but the Omaha Storm Chasers still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Nashville Sounds at First Tennessee Park. Nashville reliever Jayse Lindblom picked up the win to move to 2-0. Tre Parker suffered the loss. Jeff Hickam nailed down his 3rd save.
The outcome hung in the balance with one down in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 1st and Omaha trailing 2-1, Corey Rose lined out. It was a big out for Nashville pitcher Dan Bower.
With the loss, Omaha drops to 8-16.
