Rainiers Reel Off Another Win
|
Tacoma Rainiers starter Joey DeVoe was in fine form against the Sacramento River Cats at Cheney Stadium, leading his team to a win, 2-1. Sacramento is now 11-13.
Gabriel Stoddard took Geraldo Garza deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Rainiers on top, 2-1. In all, Stoddard had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"That's baseball," said Sacramento manager Justin Lake. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
