The Reno Aces and Inland Empire 66ers provided some drama for the home crowd.

Inland Empire starter Perfecto Polanco pitched well against the Reno Aces at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Nick Thompson recorded the save, his 5th.

Patrick Abshire was involved in some late-game drama. With no one out in the bottom of the eighth, Abshire hit a solo home run. It helped Inland Empire snatch the win.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Polanco.

The win leaves Inland Empire with a record of 12-9.
