No one was more impactful than Hudson Scott in the 7-3 Omaha win over Winnipeg. Scott, who is tied for 3rd in the PCL in home runs with 8, slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Harry Vactor picked up the win in relief for Omaha, while Dustin Nicholas took the loss. Meyers Turner earned the save for Omaha, his 2nd of the year.

Michael Calloway brought the hometown crowd to its feet with no one out in the bottom of the seventh. That's when the 24-year old left fielder belted a grand slam home run. With the round-tripper, the Storm Chasers took the lead, 6-3.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Storm Chasers manager Angel Romo.

The Storm Chasers are off to a tough start, getting just their 10th win in 27 games.
