Goldeyes Improve to 15-13 with 5-3 Win
The Goldeyes grabbed a win, 5-3, at Werner Park, overcoming a fine effort from Omaha pitcher Ruy Arvizu. Arvizu went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Jeremy Richardson finished the game for Winnipeg and earned his 1st save. The win elevated the Goldeyes to 15-13.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Connor Springer, who is tied for 5th in the PCL in triples with 2, hit a run-scoring single. The Goldeyes went on to win.

Springer called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
