Aces Come Back Late to Clip Edge
Both offenses were feeble at Blues Stadium. Fortunately for the Reno Aces, though, Keyton Oliver delivered in the clutch. He went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, to help his team topple the Edmonton Edge, 2-1. Grim Sleva closed it out for Reno, earning his 6th save. The 7th-place Aces improved to 16-14.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Oliver delivered big-time for Reno, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jared Curran. The game-changing hit put the Aces on top, 2-1.

"The old adage is true," said Oliver. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
