Round Rock beat Reno at Blues Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to catcher Cody Geddes. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Round Rock reliever Christopher Havill got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Myles Davidovich was tagged with the loss. Ulysses Emeric picked up the save for Round Rock, his 4th of the year.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Emanuel Nava came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Reno pitcher Myles Davidovich, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Round Rock on top, 6-5.

"When you put in the effort and you get really focused, the results come in ways you're not even expecting," said Express manager Mark Ennis.

Round Rock has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
