Inland Empire 66ers starter Mario Reuter turned in an exceptional performance against the Nashville Sounds at First Tennessee Park, resulting in a Inland Empire win, 4-2. Nick Thompson earned the save, his 8th. The 4th-place 66ers lifted their record to 17-13.

Inland Empire relied on the hitting of Ian Saucedo to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the 66ers on top, 3-0. For the game, Saucedo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
