Stoddard goes 4-for-5, Leads Rainiers to Win
The Tacoma Rainiers beat the New Orleans Baby Cakes by a score of 9-7. Tacoma first baseman Gabriel Stoddard deserved the lion's share of the credit. Stoddard was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Rainiers. The win was credited to Harvey Allison in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Perry Davis took the loss. Janito Ceita finished the game for Tacoma and earned his 13th save.
