The Honolulu ThunderSharks soundly defeated the Reno Aces, 15-4, at Smith's Ballpark, with shortstop Gerrit Talik a major reason why. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Honolulu. The 7th-place ThunderSharks hiked their record to 15-16.

In the bottom of the fourth, Honolulu center fielder Lewis Solina had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Solina stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 5-2, Honolulu.
