Inland Empire Wins, 4-3, in Extra Innings
|
The Inland Empire 66ers picked up a win at Wranglers Ballpark, knocking off the Oklahoma City Wranglers, 4-3, in 11 innings. On the mound for Inland Empire was right-hander Gage Marrino. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The 66ers now have a record of 20-15 with the win over Oklahoma City.
Jacob Summers had a direct impact on the outcome. Summers contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Inland Empire up, 4-3.
"There's no victory at bargain basement prices," Summers told a reporter after the game.
