The El Paso Chihuahuas picked up a win at Southwest University park, knocking off the Inland Empire 66ers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mikey Randall played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was Vicente Gaytan, his 2nd. El Paso has a record of 24-14, placing them first in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.

Had James Babilonia not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Babilonia hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Chihuahuas.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Inland Empire manager Chris Kerr said following the tough loss.
