Reno turned a good effort from starter Murdock Chamberlain into a win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes at NBT Bank Stadium. The Aces won the game, 6-0. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Winnipeg.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ayan Malson? The Reno designated hitter had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Aces on top, 2-0. For the game, Malson had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
