Late Rally Leads to 8-6 Sidewinders Triumph
The Tucson Sidewinders defeated the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 8-6, in Pacific Coast League action at NBT Bank Stadium. Tucson pitcher Oliver Nickel had a standout performance. Tucson currently is in last place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division at 16-23.

Tucson needed the clutch hitting of Elijah Holmes to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sidewinders on top, 8-5. For the game, Holmes had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Enjoyed this one," Holmes told the Tucson Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
