The Omaha Storm Chasers stopped the Honolulu ThunderSharks, 9-3, at Werner Park. The Storm Chasers got a big game from Jonathan Foster, who was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Omaha pitcher Gabe Terry earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Alfredo Escutia suffered the loss. Luke Pelletier had a big run-scoring triple for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Omaha leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Alfredo Escutia and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm Chasers ahead, 4-2.

"When you're losing, the game looks more difficult to play than it is," said Honolulu manager Neil Kuntz.
