Storm Chasers Best Goldeyes in Pitching Duel
In a tight game between the Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Omaha Storm Chasers, nobody was more important for the winners than Jonathan Foster. Foster was masterful in the 2-0 win. Josh Knowles snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-2 on the season. Aryan Donovan suffered the loss. The 5th-place Storm Chasers lifted their record to 20-23.

Jackie Evans had a big solo home run for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Omaha leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Aryan Donovan and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Storm Chasers on top, 2-0.

"Runs were at a premium," said Omaha manager Nick Rodriguez.
