Aces Earn 6-5 Win Against HarbourCats
|
The Reno Aces turned back the Victoria HarbourCats, 6-5, at Blues Stadium. Nestor Bunt, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times. Reliever Nick Miller picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Noah Sonnek took the loss. The Aces are now 23-20.
The Aces got a clutch hit from catcher Roy Tice. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Aces.
"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said Victoria manager Joel Rose.
