The Edmonton Edge topped the New Orleans Baby Cakes by a score of 13-11 in 11 innings. Leading the way was left fielder Tito Vidrio. Vidrio went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for the Edge. Edmonton pitcher Mitch Hall earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Ronald Achoy suffered the loss. The first-place Edge now have a record of 27-15.

Ian Gaylord went 1 for 4 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for Edmonton. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring walk off Noah Bruce. It was his 17th walk of the season.
