Triplets Win, 5-3, Versus Reno

The Evansville Triplets handed the Reno Aces a loss at Blues Stadium. The final score was 5-3. Major production was provided by Chris Hoff for Evansville. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 2. He also added 1 walk. Liam Hopkins, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The Triplets improved their record to 28-20 with the win over Reno.
Hoff had a timely hit for Evansville in the top of the ninth. With Evansville trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Evansville.
"Chris is still learning," said Triplets manager Ryan McMullen. "The sky's the limit for him."
