The exploits of shortstop Bob Sigrah, who is tied for 5th in the PCL in doubles with 14, helped the Round Rock Express defeat the Nashville Sounds, 7-0. Sigrah went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Round Rock reliever Avery Evjen picked up the win, raising his record to 4-0. Earl Barrett was tagged with the loss. At 25-23, the Express find themselves in third place in the Pacific Coast League American Divison.

The fans who filled the stands at Dell Diamond to watch the Pacific Coast League action seemed to enjoy the game.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Sigrah.
