Nester Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
Ron Nester had an answer for everything the Winnipeg Goldeyes threw at him today at NBT Bank Stadium. The El Paso left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Chihuahuas on top, 14-7.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Nester said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Ron Nester singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Oneil Smith in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Carson Thorne in the 5th, walked in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
