Green Hits Two Dingers, Chihuahuas Win, 5-2

Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the El Paso Chihuahuas and Reno Aces.
The El Paso Chihuahuas stymied the Reno Aces, 5-2, at Southwest University park. Roger Green had a good day at the plate. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for El Paso. El Paso currently is in third place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division at 30-22.
El Paso took a 3-2 lead on Ibrahim Izaguirre's 12th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Izaguirre hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Reno pitcher Raymond May visibly frustrated.
"I felt good up there," said Green. "I saw the ball well."
